Rick Hayes is all about music. He plays it, records it, produces it, listens to it, makes instruments so other people can play it, and even designs CD covers so artists can sell it. He started at a very young age and has performed everything from metal to blues to bluegrass, and a lot in between.

Rick is currently touring with the award winning Sugar Hill Records' recording artists, The Gibson Brothers. He has been playing with these bluegrass boys since 2005 and recently recorded with them on their upcoming release, "Iron & Diamonds." When he's not on the road, Rick is either making classic F-5 mandolins or recording, performing or producing in his studio, Hayes Productions. In the studio, he really works with artists to bring out their absolute best. He plays a variety of instruments -- including guitar, bass, drums and mandolin -- and covers a variety of styles.
